Sometimes when trying to upload a question background image, you may find the aspect ratio automatically changing to 4:3 when your original image is displayed in another ratio outside of Brainshark. This can occur when an image is uploaded that is not a supported size.
In order to ensure your image is uploaded with your desired aspect ratio, the image must be in a JPG, PNG or GIF format and be sized at 720x540 pixels or 720x405 pixels.
- An image that is 720x540 pixels will upload in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
- An image that is 720x405 pixels will upload in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Just to add, if you create an image that larger than the recommended size but meets the ratio criteria, it will resize. However, if it is off by even 1 pixel for the 16:9, the image will become 4:3.
